We are looking for:

  • Your mission is to implement Syensqo NovaCare HPC Hair & Skin Care strategies, by developing a business in the Beauty Ingredients market in North America, and identifying new account targets, with a heavy focus on the west coast.
  • The North America Sales Manager, Hair & Beauty Incubation will be responsible for the overall growth of key hair & skin care accounts. Based in North America, you will coordinate all communication and oversee all short-term projects and long-term strategic priorities for the accounts. You will manage an existing base & develop new business. This includes gathering business information, developing commercial tactical plans, and executing these plans to generate expanded growth for the company.
  • Critical to our Beauty Care business growth ambitions, the position is about developing the Hair & skin care segments by identifying and managing new customers, driving and supporting sales, and working directly with our distribution partners in North America.
  • You will work with the regional North America Business Development Manager and our Global Marketing organization to leverage our operational marketing initiatives to deliver new sales with profitable contribution margins.

  • Identify, establish and grow new account targets, with a heavy focus on Indie brands on the west coast.
  • Directly manage and drive hair & beauty innovation opportunities across those accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships through proactive communication and regular visits to discuss existing business & commercial opportunities in targeted applications.
  • Achieve KPI objectives according to global marketing & pricing strategy, as well as commercial guidelines.
  • Act as a key contact point for customers and educate them on products, applications, and trends.
  • Maintain and continuously improve knowledge about products, applications and markets in the industry.
  • Evaluate and propose innovative solutions for customer problems and coordinate with internal resources (R&I, etc.) when needed to meet customer requests/demands and ensure issues are resolved
  • Support Incubator Brands and distribution network as Sales Manager for Beauty Care (Hair & Skin Care).
  • Manage the development of opportunity pipe for Hair Care in NA. Grow Sales/ICM and deliver budget delivery targets.

You will bring:

  • Sales experience in the Beauty Care Space - selling Hair & Skin Care Innovations.
  • Experience with selling in Beauty Care products, and development of a 5-year strategic roadmap for growth.
  • Grow Sales/ICM and deliver budget delivery.
  • Act as a key contact point for customers and educate them on products, applications, and trends.
  • Achieve KPI objectives according to global marketing & pricing strategy, as well as commercial guidelines.
  • Design and update the Key Account Plan (KAP) as needed.
  • Maintain and continuously improve knowledge about products, applications, and markets in the industry
  • Scientific and technical background in chemistry, formulation, and consumer markets, with previous experience in the Hair & Skin Care market. Understanding of Hair & Skin science/hair & skin biological mechanisms.
  • Business/Sales background, with 5 years of sales or marketing experience in Beauty Care / Hair & Skin Care.
  • Hunter / entrepreneurial spirit, driven by the delivery of business results. Strong team player and ability to navigate complex organizations.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to create presentations, communicate marketing and technical information to a broad audience.

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $103,360 to $129,200 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
