You will bring:

  • Associates Degree (preferred), applicable trade school certification, or honorable military discharge. Advanced certification or license in a skilled trades area is a plus.
  • 5 years experience in programming, debugging, and repairing PLC devices to ensure they work as designed with other equipment.
  • 7+ years experience working on industrial electrical systems.
  • Must have broad knowledge in electric, electric controls, and some knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic machinery, their controls, and critical instrumentation in order to keep machine/equipment down time to a minimum.
  • Possess knowledge of controllers / control systems, PLC's, high voltage 3 phase electrical operation is preferred. PLC troubleshooting experience with Allen Bradley controls experience.
  • Must be willing and able to provide on-call (off-shift) support for plant operations, as requested / needed.
  • Must be willing to work 1st shift (6:30 am-2:30 pm) and 2nd shift (2:30-10:30 pm) shifts during/after a probationary / training period.
  • Must have a positive attitude toward safety, and must be willing to work according to strict safety-based procedures.

You will get:

  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $38.47 per hour or more. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • The candidate must be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide and convert in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals, as well as compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to draw and interpret graphs is also required.

REASONING ABILITY

  • The ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form is essential. The candidate must be able to deal with problems involving several variables.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the candidate will frequently and routinely be required to stand, kneel, walk, stoop, climb, crouch, push, pull, carry, and utilize ladders and stairs. There are frequent requirements to use hands and arms to touch or feel objects, and to use tools. Lifting requirements are 55 lbs. on a regular basis, up to 70 lbs. occasionally, and higher amounts using power or assist devices. The job requires good close vision, color vision, and the ability to accurately distinguish shapes / anomalies.
