We are looking for:
The O&G Solutions senior Laboratory Technician will contribute to, participate in O&G research & innovation development projects for oilfield chemical applications. Support Syensqo O&G Solutions technical and business team to execute technology development projects. This position is located in our O&G Solutions R&I Center in the Woodlands, TX.

  • Participate in and conduct laboratory tests for Quality Control and developing new technologies
  • Maintain O&G laboratory testing methods and equipment
  • Provide technical supports on existing products and technology
  • Maintenance & keeping lab supply inventory

You will bring:

  • An associate degree focusing on Engineering/Chemistry who has 1-2 years of experience in mechanical and/ or laboratory background or similar disciplines with related experience.
  • Strong background in Quality Control and/ or experience in plant can be a plus.
  • Mechanical aptitude, equipment maintenance & keeping lab supply inventory.
  • Motivated, positive, with a can do attitude
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Team work attitude and demonstrated customer focus is a must

You will get:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $90,880 to $68,459 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
  • 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations.
