We’re looking for a Maintenance & Reliability Excellence Engineer to support our manufacturing sites in Germany, the UK, and China. You’ll play a key role in driving best practices in maintenance and reliability, improving asset performance, and supporting local teams with tools, training, and technical expertise.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with a strong focus on continuous improvement, digital tools, and proactive maintenance strategies.
This position can be based either at our site in Östringen, Germany, or at one of our UK locations 

Key Responsibilities

  • Standardise and improve maintenance routines (Work Order Management, planning, scheduling)
  • Implement and support predictive and preventive maintenance strategies
  • Conduct FMEA, criticality assessments, and optimise PMs
  • Identify and address equipment “bad actors” using OEE and SAP data
  • Coach site teams on reliability tools and processes
  • Support storeroom optimisation and MRO inventory management
  • Contribute to long-term Capex planning and asset lifecycle strategies

About You

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or similar
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ECC/ERP and reliability tools (FMEA, PMs, critical spares)
  • Experience with predictive maintenance technologies
  • CMRP, CRL or similar certification is a plus
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 25%)
