We are looking for:
A Global Service Owner & Cloud Security Architect (W/M/X) to join our Cybersecurity team at Syensqo.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust cloud security strategies to protect the organization’s infrastructure and data from evolving threats. Your deep understanding of cloud environments, threat detection, and cybersecurity best practices will be essential to shaping our cloud security posture.
We count on you to:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive cloud security strategy aligned with organizational policies and regulatory compliance requirements.
Design and deploy cloud security solutions across platforms and environments.
Define and enforce security policies and configurations to ensure proper protection, detection, and incident response capabilities.
Monitor endpoint protection tools for suspicious activity and lead incident response efforts related to cloud security incidents.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate with IT teams to drive timely remediation actions.
Lead security awareness initiatives and training programs to promote a culture of security within the organization.
Collaborate closely with internal cybersecurity and IT teams to ensure a unified approach, and report regularly on the cloud security posture, incidents, and improvement initiatives.

You will bring:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a strong plus.
At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a specialization in cloud security architecture and engineering.
Strong technical knowledge of cloud security technologies, SIEM, vulnerability management, and incident response.
A deep understanding of the cyber threat landscape and attack methodologies.
Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage complex security incidents.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and explain technical issues clearly to stakeholders.
A strong sense of empowerment and accountability, with the ability to lead, influence, and deliver results in a collaborative environment.
A mindset of result orientation, team spirit, and continuous improvement.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
