We are looking for a highly skilled Transition Manager to be responsible for overseeing and managing the transition within Syensqo Global Business Services. Overall, the transition manager plays a critical role in facilitating smooth transitions within the GBS transformation, helping to minimize disruption and maximize the benefits of change initiatives.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, change management, and technical expertise, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

1. **Project Management**: strong project management skills to plan, coordinate, and execute transitions effectively. This involves owning the transition methodology & framework, creating project plans, defining timelines, allocating resources, and monitoring progress.
2. **Change Management**: understand the impact of the transition on various stakeholders and implement strategies to manage resistance to change. This involves communication plans, training programs, and stakeholder engagement activities.
3. **Risk Management**: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies is crucial. Need to anticipate obstacles and develop contingency plans to ensure a smooth transition process.
4. **Technical Knowledge**: Depending on the nature of the transition, a global understanding of the impacts of IT implementation, business processes and organizational restructuring.
5. **Collaboration and Communication**: work closely with various teams, departments, and external partners to coordinate activities and ensure alignment with project objectives. Effective communication skills are essential for conveying expectations, providing updates, and resolving issues.
6. **Quality Assurance**: Defining and ensuring the quality of the transition deliverables. Establish quality standards, conduct reviews, and implement corrective actions to maintain the desired level of quality throughout the transition process.
7. **Post-Transition Support**: Provide support after the transition is complete to address any issues or concerns that arise during the post-implementation phase. This may involve troubleshooting, addressing user feedback, and fine-tuning processes as needed.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree, Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) preferred.
Proven experience as a Transition Manager (5-10 Years), with a strong background in project management and change management.
Solid understanding of transition management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Technical expertise in areas within GBS business processes preferred.
Must-have skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft, Google, Jira).
Ability to connect people and connect with people
Good communication (ex: clear communication plan)
Proactive with a high level of initiative and autonomy in the day to day organization
Jira tool knowledge (preferable)
Must-have language skills
Fluent in English (both written & spoken)
