We are looking for:
As a Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer reporting to the Salesforce Technical
Manager, your focus will be to lead and manage the end-to-end release and
deployment processes within our Salesforce environment, in strong collaboration
with the Salesforce Technical Architect, Tech Leads, and Release Manager. This
senior position will provide expertise to manage a complex landscape, multiple
parallel projects, and Copado tool. Key responsibilities include deployment
execution, environment strategy, process improvement, and release management.
We count on you for:
Lead Deployment Execution and Support: Execute deployments in integration
environments and manage back promotions/retrofits into project sandboxes.
Support developers in the deployment process, ensuring adherence to
defined processes and best practices.
Environment and Branch Strategy: Oversee the setup and maintenance of
development, testing, and production environments. Define and implement
branching strategies for long-run projects, ensuring alignment with project
goals and operational efficiency, in coordination with Technical Architect.
Stakeholder Communication and Coordination: Serve as the main point of
contact for all matters related to release and deployment management.
Ensure clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including
project teams, management, and external partners.
Process Improvement and DevOps Initiatives: Drive continuous improvement
in the release and deployment process through the introduction of new
pipelines and automation tools. Work closely with the technical team to
identify and implement DevOps practices that enhance collaboration and
efficiency.
Release Management and Planning: Assess the project landscape to
determine the most effective release cadence. Support project managers and
deployment managers in planning releases according to build duration and
UAT period needs. Plan and coordinate Cutover activities for projects,
ensuring seamless integration with ongoing maintenance and other projects.
Education and experience
Expertise in Copado, including hands-on experience with deploying,
managing, and troubleshooting within the Copado environment. Familiarity
with Copado’s features and best practices for Salesforce deployment and
CI/CD processes. Certification is mandatory.
5+ years of experience in release and deployment management and 3+ years
within a Salesforce environment.
Strong knowledge with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, branching
strategies, and automation tools.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record
of working collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple
projects and teams simultaneously.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Good knowledge of Salesforce architecture, environment management, and
deployment methodologies.
Fluent in English is mandatory (Portuguese or French are nice to have).
Experience as a Salesforce developer, to support during merge conflicts, is a
big plus.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related engineering
field
