We are looking for:
a research technician to help develop new composite materials for exciting automotive, motorsport, electronics and other industrial applications. Projects will focus on the development of novel and sustainable composite materials.
We count on you for:
Work under the supervision of scientists/engineers to develop new composite products, taking them from conception, through development and scaleup, to their application
Preparation and physical, chemical and mechanical characterisation of resin/composite formulations
Recording experimental results and observations accurately and concisely
Collaboration with Syensqo colleagues in Research & Innovation as well as in different functions and sites
Contribute to the running of the research centre by supporting local teams and participating in continuous improvement activities

You will bring:
Applicants should be educated in a relevant technical subject (Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering etc.) preferably to degree level. Candidates with relevant composite or similar experience will also be considered
Enthusiastic team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
Proactive and creative with good problem solving skills
Practical and hands-on, with a commitment to safety
