We are looking for:
HSE Manager in Havre de Grace, MD to be responsible for managing various Health, Safety, Environmental and Security activities for the Havre de Grace,
Maryland facility. You will provide technical HSE leadership to the Havre de Grace leadership team and their departments and will develop
strategies towards continuous HSE performance improvement.
We can count on you to:
Serve as the primary HSE contact for the site.
Member of site’s leadership team that provides HSE technical support, guidance and compliance within HSE.
Implements HSE programs, drives best practices.
Conduct internal audits of site HSE programs to determine compliance and or the need for program changes.
Responsibility will be to establish as a minimum, compliance with government standards (OSHA, EPA etc.) and
Solvay HSE standards.
Develop relationships with other GBU HSE departments, the GBU HSE group as well as Solvay HSE corporate
personnel
You can count on us for:
You will bring:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a HSE position.
BS in Engineering, Safety, Environmental or equivalent experience.
Certification a plus.
Demonstrated experience in a leadership or managerial position (or demonstrated significant work experience and
leading teams).
Technical Knowledge – Working Knowledge of Safety and Health government standards as well as Environmental
regulations
Process Safety Management (PSM) – Leading Process Hazard Analysis, Management of Change.
Experienced in leading cross functional teams in problem resolution.
Proven Leader – has demonstrated leadership skill in previous HSE positions
Change agent – proven track record of supporting/driving significant organizational change towards HSE
performance.
Able to formulate strategies involving HSE related issues

(Only for jobs posted in the US) The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $139,000 to $180,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
