The IT Business performance partner role is pivotal in maintaining robust relationships with Global Business Unit (GBU) & BSA (Business Support Areas) counterparts, ensuring business colleagues' satisfaction, and driving continual service improvement in both quality and financial aspects. The role is also tasked with managing and optimizing the service portfolio across various IT domains.

Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with Global Business Units (GBUs) and serve as a liaison between IT services and business units to ensure alignment and mutual understanding. Collaborate closely with GBUs to ensure IT comprehends their needs and aligns quality objectives, and facilitate discussions to achieve this. Manage the community of practice for delivery managers within Syensqo. Support the IT leadership in driving continuous improvement of IT services for GBUs & BSAs, and offering an external perspective on service performance across domains.

Stakeholder orchestration: Coordinating with different internal IT stakeholders across various domains to develop and validate definitions and improvement plans. Prepare communication materials to foster a shared understanding, focusing on optimization, delivery, Issues, risk, and success measurement.

Financial & Quality Management: Collaborate/challenge the run teams on how they manage their day-to-day activities. By bringing more transparency to financial performance vs delivered quality of the IT services. Scope and follow-up implementation of continual service improvement initiatives to enhance quality and financial performance. Work together with the controller & business in ensuring good reporting and challenging yearly budgeting and targets.

Program orchestration:
The IT Business performance partner plays a crucial role in the program to enhance our IT services and quality by combining the above skills. This involves coordinating with various IT stakeholders to develop and implement program plans, ensuring cross-functional collaboration for successful execution. The manager prepares communication materials to inform business counterparts about program objectives and changes, facilitating smooth transitions.


Education and experience

  • Master’s degree or equivalent level in a relevant course of studies
  • Experience in navigating through an ecosystem of external providers and potential partners in a constant evolution
  • Experience in a high-paced environment
  • Strong exposure to the relevant market of general IT solutions, general understanding of what is important in delivering good services towards the business units & support functions
  • Experience in developing and executing transformation roadmaps, advocating best-of-breed solutions, and promoting advanced technologies for bringing the best possible services, balancing quality vs costs
  • Good exposure to change management and data management
