We are looking for:

A dedicated professional to join our team at Syensqo, where you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission of scientific exploration and innovation. You will be part of a collaborative environment, working closely with R&I, strategic marketing, and engineering teams to develop and implement cutting-edge technologies and processes. Your role will involve:

  • Performing technological watch and competitive intelligence by following up on scientific and technological developments, market evolutions, and relevant legislation within your domain of expertise.
  • Monitoring and analyzing competitors’ activities, benchmarking their processes against ours, and following up on patents acquired by the competition.
  • Collecting information about future company needs and customer demands within your domain of expertise.

We count on you for:

  • Developing and implementing technology improvement programs by identifying levers for improvement using benchmarks, competitive, and market information.
  • Monitoring and challenging the performance of production units, ensuring technical and process efficiency supervision of sites, and following up on plant performance.
  • Directing and performing both short-term and strategic studies regarding production cost optimization, production capacity utilization, and information and material flows.
  • Studying, analyzing, proposing, and defending technology improvement initiatives and new industrial processes and technologies to invest in.
  • Investigating recurrent issues brought up by researchers or process engineers and developing innovative solutions.
  • Translating GBU strategic priorities into technology improvement axes and communicating these to your team.
  • Consolidating technology improvement programs proposed by team members and defending these to GBU Management.
  • Feeding the R&I project pipeline with technology innovation needs and evaluating the reliability and utility of new technologies.
  • Coordinating and following up on technology improvement programs, ensuring the deployment of good technology management practices.
  • Working closely with GEC-Engineering and R&I in process improvement projects.
