We are looking for:

A Junior Chemical Operator for our Welland/Niagara Falls site.
 
We can count on you to: 

  • Accountable to the Gases Supervisor for the safe and continuous operation of the New Fumigation building which includes Ecofume, Vaporphos and Cytop 1 production.

  • Directly involved with the production, analysis and qualification, maintenance, coordination, customer relations, order processing and organization of the processes consistent with Syensqo’s safety, environmental and quality objectives

  • Co-ordination of various products with customer demand and cylinder availability.

  • Involved with Logistics, Production, Maintenance, and Customer Service to ensure co-ordination of various tasks are done

  • Involved in all shutdown/start up planning for New Fumigation area

  • Coordinates all daily maintenance and shutdown maintenance activities

  • Actively involved in the commissioning of all new equipment

  • Uses Trackabout to capture daily production and inventory levels.

  • Preparing and authorizing work permits.

  • Performs LOTO as needed for breakdowns and maintenance.

You will bring: 

  • Minimum: Post-secondary education OR a minimum of 5 years applicable industrial experience.

  • Preferred: Post-secondary education AND a minimum of 5 years applicable industrial experience.

  • Excellent communication skills and detail oriented.

  • Clean performance record.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Requires regular, dependable attendance.

  • Physically fit with no restrictions.

  • Must have excellent analytical skills
