We are looking for:
The O&G Solutions Laboratory Intern will contribute to participate in O&G research & innovation development projects for oilfield chemical applications. Support O&G Solutions R&I and technical team to execute technology development projects. This position is located at O&G Solutions R&I Center in the Woodlands, TX.
We count on you for:
Participate in and conduct laboratory experiments for analysis and Quality Control for developing new technologies
Sample preparation and participate in synthesis work under supervision
Maintain well written and organized lab reports for testing methods and related project work
Provide technical support on existing products
Follow established safety protocols and maintain lab hygiene

You will bring:
An associate or bachelor’s degree, or current enrollment in a postgraduate program in Engineering or Chemistry, with 1–2 years of experience in a mechanical, laboratory, or related discipline.
Previous experience assisting with research or laboratory work is a plus.
Background in synthesis, quality control, or prior internship experience is also advantageous.
Motivated, positive, with a can-do attitude.
Excellent verbal/written communication, data management, and reporting skills.
Teamwork attitude and ensuring safety and compliance is a must

The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is ($22.00 to $24.00 per hour). Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
