Syensqo to scale AI-driven discovery and growth with Microsoft

Share to

Agentic AI delivers measurable gains in speed, cost efficiency, and innovation outcomes across R&I, sales, and commercial operations

Syensqo today announced a new phase in its collaboration with Microsoft, focused on scaling proven AI use cases across its Research and Innovation (R&I), sales, and commercial activities. Building on the memorandum of understanding signed in 2025, the companies are now scaling concrete applications that accelerate discovery, improve decision-making, and unlock measurable business impact, marking a shift in how Syensqo operates end-to-end.

By deploying AI capabilities through Microsoft Discovery, the company is transforming traditional workflows into an integrated model that connects experimental data, simulation, scientific literature, customer insights, and commercial intelligence. This enables a more dynamic approach that is aligning innovation with market needs and scientific insights  and accelerates the path from idea to commercialization.

We are now entering a new phase of our partnership with Microsoft, focused on scaling AI agents across Research, Sales and Marketing to drive near-term growth. By connecting customer demand to scientific development and back to market execution, agentic AI is enabling faster cycles, sharper prioritization, and tangible impact on revenue growth and business performance.

Mike Radossich, CEO of Syensqo

Early results are beginning to demonstrate tangible gains, particularly in the development of next-generation heat transfer fluids for semiconductor manufacturing. Using Microsoft Discovery, Syensqo is screening millions of molecular candidates and predicting key properties such as thermal performance, dielectric strength, and safety. This AI-driven approach has the potential to accelerate research cycles, enabling more experiments and iterations in less time, while improving accuracy and reducing experimental costs through better prioritization and reduced reliance on physical testing. This approach is expected to compress innovation timelines from years to months.

In parallel, leveraging commercial insights and market data is expected to enable more targeted innovation, improved portfolio prioritization, and stronger alignment between market needs and R&I investments.

Looking ahead, Syensqo will continue to scale these capabilities across its global R&I organization, positioning AI as a long-term growth engine. By connecting R&I, sales, and marketing within a unified digital and data-driven ecosystem, the company aims to accelerate innovation, improve capital allocation, and drive sustained business performance across its markets.
