Syensqo has received the Leadership in CSR & Sustainable Growth Award at the 11th European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC) Corporate Social Responsibility Awards Ceremony in Nanjing.
Syensqo, previously part of Solvay Group, is a specialty science company with over 160 years of history. The company focuses on providing sustainable solutions to address global challenges and is committed to achieving carbon neutrality in its operations by 2040. By the end of 2023, the company had already met 50% of its carbon reduction targets for Scope 1 and 2 emissions. Additionally, all six of its manufacturing sites in China now operate entirely on green power.
