Additive for metal treatment
Addibond™ 106 is a specialty additive to improve paint adhesion to metal (aluminium alloys, electro galvanized and hot-dip galvanized steel). It is a polymer that bears two types of functional monomers — one that anchors to a metallic surface and the other that reacts with the top organic layer (paint, adhesive, etc.) The end result is a truly bonded layer that sits between the metal surface and the final organic layer.
Addibond™ 106 is suitable for spray, powder & roll painting and lamination application methods. It is also suitable for chrome-free and heacy metal free conversion and passivation treatment..
Additive for coatings
Addibond™ 106 is a specialty adhesion promoter additive that improves adhesion on various substrates; it is suitable to waterborne DTM and primers systems and can be added at any stage of the formulation to improve dry and wet adhesion..
