CYCOM® 5250-4HT is a 375°F (190°C) curing bismaleimide resin with a service temperature range of -75˚F to 475˚F (-59˚C to 246˚C). CYCOM® 5250-4HT prepreg has good handling properties and is available as unidirectional tape and woven fabric with carbon, glass, or astroquartz reinforcement. CYCOM® 5250-4HT has excellent thermal stability after thermal cycling with properties equivalent to that of high temperature epoxy resin after free standing post-cure.
Typical applications for CYCOM® 5250-4HT include use in primary aircraft structures, specifically in high temperature engines and tooling applications.
