We are looking for:
Accountable for the site Piping Mechanical Integrity program with a focus on early defect detection and defect elimination
Accountable for asset performance in relation to the site OEE program
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
Knowledge of financial resources, tools, and reporting
Ability to manage and direct capital projects
Knowledge of information systems and CMMS (SAP experience is preferred)
Accountable for fulfilling TSSA requirements for pressure piping repairs
Ability to review welding procedures, NDT reports, and piping specifications , and take actions as needed
We count on you for:
Develop, implement, and manage the mechanical integrity program for piping systems and related accessories (piping, valves, expansion joints, insulation joints, PSVs, hoses, steam traps, rupture discs, etc.)
Support the Maintenance team with repair planning for critical equipment failures
Active involvement in the site OEE program and maintaining the equipment Bad Actors List
Facilitate and participate in reliability improvement initiatives
Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) on major equipment failures and manage improvement action items
Perform equipment criticality analysis and ensure adequate spare parts for all critical assets
Interpret reliability data and provide guidance on failure mitigation / reliability improvement plans
Engage in capital projects to ensure appropriate equipment selection and installation
Execute projects related to equipment or process changes to improve asset reliability
Key contributor to the development and execution of shutdown timelines , ensuring critical reliability tasks are completed during shutdowns
You will bring:
5+ years of chemical plant (or similar industrial) experience
Certified API 570 Inspector (or pursuing certification).
Experience with CSA B51 and TSSA requirements
Experience with CMMS (preferably SAP)
Strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills
Bias for action and ability to achieve results
Professional conduct and ability to lead by example
Commitment to follow safety, quality, and site policies and procedures
