We are looking for: 

  • At the time of this posting, this position is responsible for all functions in the Quality Control Labs to ensure the quality assurance that products being manufactured are within the requirements set by specifications. 
  • Duties include but are not limited cutting, plying, curing, measuring, grinding, testing and reporting results of samples.
  • Be able to work with machine operators as well as other employees in the lab.
  •  Being Quality minded and having good interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours     
  • Efficient, accurate and reproducible testing of pre-preg in accordance with applicable testing requirements. 
  • Must pass or have previously passed the Ramsay Laboratory  Technician Test
  • Must comply with laboratory safety procedures.
  • Must be able to read and understand customer specifications, test methods, shop orders and documentation defining testing requirements.
  • Must exhibit ability to maintain an acceptable testing rate during the shift.
  • Must learn how to operate the LIMS system and troubleshoot it when necessary.
  • Understand the concept of each test as an acceptable tool.
  • Analyze out spec. results to determine failure cause and suggest corrective action.
  • Must be familiar with proper waste disposal methods.
  • Approval and stamp-off testing documentation.
  • Must be able to hand calculate all test results in case of LIMS failure.
  • Maintain level of supplies to permit an uninterrupted testing schedule.
  • Perform testing in the presence of customers.
  • Knowledge of all applicable environmental regulations and procedures.
  • Must not be on Final Warning for attendance. 

Physical:

Lift up to 55 lbs.  Must be able to successfully pass required physical examination.

 

You will bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  •  Associates Degree in Process Technology or other Industrial/technical skill strongly preferred
  •  3-5 years experience in an industrial plant strongly preferred 
  • 1-2 years experience in production of chemicals preferred
  •  Previous experience using SAP preferred
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English  
  • Ability to utilize a computer and associated software

  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $20.82 per hour, with a shift differential for 3rd shift. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
