Amodel® Bios HFFR R1-133 is a 33% glass fiber reinforced, halogen-free flame retardant compound based on a partially bio-sourced polyphthalamide (PPA) that is produced with 100% renewable electricity and is designed for electrical applications. This grade features low moisture absorption, a high heat deflection temperature and flexural modulus along with excellent impact properties and tensile strength. This resin is equivalent to V-0 by Underwriters Laboratories using the UL94 test.
Amodel® Bios HFFR R1-133 provides a balance of structural integrity and material processing capability for electrical and electronics applications. This grade can withstand the demanding infrared reflow soldering process typically used in the electronics industry. It is well suited for connectors and other electrical devices requiring surface mount technology (SMT).
