FLEXWRAP FW 5068 is manufactured from a nominal 6.5 ounce per square yard cotton fabric impregnated with an elastomer modified phenolic resin.

It is a low density, high elongation composite that may be suitable as an external ablative insulation for aerodynamic heating environments.
