Human Rights in Business Policy
We have a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility – including the protection and advancement of human rights. In addition to our policy, we have developed an environmental, social and governance (ESG) risk management system for our supply chain that also covers human rights. This approach helps us identify, assess, and address risks. You can also report suspected human rights violations to our Ethics Helpline, open both to Syensqo employees and third parties.
In 2024 we established a cross-functional taskforce led by Ethics & Compliance and integrated with representatives from Human Resources, Procurement, Sustainability, Audit & Risk, HSE and Industrial Operations to progress on our human rights due diligence journey and address potential gaps. We are fully committed to continuously improve and strengthen our approach and to uphold human rights in all stages of our operations and value chain. In 2024 we will also publish our first dedicated report on human rights.
